Innate Traditions Planning For the Fourth Trimester Class Series

Thriving families start with thriving parents.

Ancient postpartum traditions throughout the world—while specific to the cultural context in which they come—all share deep common roots. These traditions are rooted in a birthing person’s physiologic design.

The commonalities of the world’s postpartum traditions include:

 ✨ An extended resting period

 ✨ Warmth

 ✨ Specific foods

 ✨ Healing bodywork

 ✨ Supportive community

For both short and long term health.

Innate Postpartum Care Community Education Series is a 5-class series that helps birthing parents prepare for the postpartum period.

In Community we will:

🦋 Learn the 5 essentials of postpartum healing

🦋 Create and fortify our support networks

🦋 Develop a postpartum plan that meets the needs of your unique family

The price includes the birthing person and one other team member, but additional support persons may join at an additional cost. Due to the intimate nature of the topics, we won’t be recording.

This Course is for you if…

  • You are pregnant and expecting a baby in Summer 2022

  • You are a partner or co-parent to a birthing person, or a part of the inner circle of support for a birthing person, for example a grandparent or sibling (not for doulas/professional birth workers’ unless they are the birthing person)

  • You intuitively know that baby’s health is contingent upon parents’ health

  • You know that thriving health is humanity’s birthright and want to spend time dedicated to planning specifically for your immediate postpartum/ fourth trimester

  • You know that birthing people’s physiological design is inherently wise and you want to create the right environment to allow the body to thrive and heal

  • You want to mark this time of transformation with ceremony and honor yourself as a new parent and are curious about cross-cultural postpartum care traditions

  • You want to create authentic community and source more supplementary knowledge/resources from your community aside from your OB/midwife/ medical care provider
